If it were possible to give six stars I would! I came across Lindsey via a google search "wedding photographers in Boston" (thank you, google) and feel very lucky. I was drawn to Lindsey because her photographs tell a story, they are filled with movement, authentic human expression, and life. I wanted our photographs to capture the realness of our wedding and I did not want to feel like I was constantly posing. Lindsey captured it all, from joy, surprise, boredom, love, fatigue, warmth, and more. I am especially impressed by her ability to capture all of the important and unique moments unique to an orthodox jewish wedding. Everyone in my large extended family was impressed and so was I. I recommend Lindsey to anyone looking to capture the full spirit of your wedding. No matter what it is that makes your wedding unique, Lindsey can do it. I literally look at my pictures daily, thank you so much, Lindsey!

From start to finish, Lindsey was a joy to work with and we wouldn't have wanted anyone else to photograph our wedding. Our meetings were so comprehensive and she walked us through every little detail and left nothing overlooked, which made us feel so prepared and in control! Our couple's shoot was a fantastic way for us to get to know each other and get a feel for being professionally photographed before the wedding (which was so important!). She gave great advice and made it so easy to be photographed; her friendly and warm personality and direct leadership really put us at ease. She didn't miss a beat during the wedding and was an absolute rockstar (despite literally falling head over heels for us, but battle scars are cool, right?!). Not to mention, the photos came out beautifully and she has an incredible eye! Our families could not get enough of the photos! It was also important to us to work with queer wedding vendors, so we were so happy to find Lindsey amid the sea of Boston wedding photographers! It just felt right to have a fellow queer person capture our special day! She really has a passion for her work and will do everything to make sure your special day is memorialized in the most beautiful way!

Lindsey was awesome to work with. We knew we didn't want all of the traditional and formal wedding photos that typically come in wedding photography packages. Lindsey was very flexible and accommodating to our very casual wedding. She took beautiful beach photos of us and great candid shots of our after party. If you are looking for photos that will not be cookie cutter- I would recommend Lindsey!

We strongly believe that your wedding should be as unique as your relationship. We wanted our day to feel precisely that, a day that clearly represented us - The groom was American; the bride was British. We met through Instagram because of the bride’s love of vintage 1950s dresses, and the groom’s love of her in them. We opted to elope and we agreed on two non-negotiable things, that we wanted to elope in Salem, MA where the groom was originally from, and that we would need to have the perfect photographer to capture our day. Enter Lindsey. Looking at her website, through multiple galleries and blogs we knew she would fit our vibe. That was confirmed all around after our first video call. Lindsey was warm, friendly, made us feel comfortable to just be our silly selves, as well as understanding that we wanted something a little different and she was eager to get involved. We had a couple of video calls to run through thoughts and ideas, but generally we knew we could trust Lindsey to guide us through the day. Lindsey followed us the entire day, no matter where we wanted to go. She was a fly on the wall, as we spent the day lost in each other. She even caught moments when neither of us thought she was even taking photographs. And the photos, the hundreds of them, all turned out beautifully! Lindsey has an amazing eye, as well as the determination, to capture those truly special moments that you want captured. We started our adventure together at the Jolie Tea Company, having high tea. The bride was British, and we wanted this day to incorporate the two of us, joining together in what we jokingly like to call The Revolutionary War: Part 2. We exchanged vows at The House of the Seven Gables. Lindsey captured it all for us, our more casual outing, getting ready for the ceremony, our first look, the different locations, all the beautiful scenery, the bride’s multiple dress changes, even that bloody ocean that kept us apart for so long. But most importantly … she captured our love. A talented photographer makes all the difference in the world. Lindsey offers more than being ‘just’ your photographer. Idea machine, general planner, hype person and friend. We will forever be grateful to her for her dedication in capturing the spirit of who we are and what we were trying to do. Anyone would be lucky to have Lindsey documenting their wedding.

We are amazed looking at the pictures Lindsey clicked of us. She was very polite, helpful throughout the session. She was always on her toes to capture the best of us right from the beginning. Now that we see the photo gallery, it feels like she read our minds and reflected the same through her lens. We would love to refer her to our friends and family for their special moments in and around Boston area.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Let’s chat on the phone (or grab a coffee, if you’re close enough)! I want to understand your needs to figure out how I can best help you. Once we decide we are well matched, we’ll get started on planning.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Formally, I have three entirely irrelevant degrees in neuroscience, psychology, and cell biology. I used to work in neuroscience research at MIT before I quit to do photography full time. Informally, I’ve been shooting photos and video since I was 15 (now 25) and went full time on photography in 2017.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask how they prepare for the shoot. Hire someone who takes time to plan prior to you arriving on-site.
