FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is a flat fee for the service and includes all images we shoot. I do not charge extra for the images you want to keep. These images are copyrighted to me, meaning you can not sell or profit from them, and are for personal use only. If you are interested in commercial work I am available and we can discuss the licensing fees associated with the rights to use the images.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I head into a project number one is for me to listen to the client and understand what the goal and desired outcome is for the project. Why is this picture being taken? What is the intended purpose? How will this picture impact the client? The more I understand the project context, the better I can help produce a successful image.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in creative industries for the past 15 years including music, fashion, and architecture. I hold a BA in Music from the University of Washington and an MFA in Design from Parsons. The camera has been a tool for me during every step and venture in my career. Most recently I was the full-time lifestyle photographer for a cycling brand in San Francisco that asked me to art direct, style, and produce all shoots for the brand. I bring operational and creative know-how to all projects I work on.
