I work with architects, designers, and individuals to create custom furniture and cabinetry, tailored for NY apartments. Jascha went above and beyond to build a custom bookcase for us. We really aligned on the type of aesthetics we were looking for. And he looked for the best lumber to build a great product. The details are super modern and clean and feel like a huge upgrade to our space. He used a very unique joinery and the cabinets are super clean and seamless. The entire structure just works for us. We love it.

It was such a pleasure to work with Jascha! He was thoughtful and responsive, and helped us with a tricky deconstruction and reconstruction of our library wall. He was so kind and forward thinking, and helped us plan out the new layout of the build and how we could mount our TV and organize our furniture to best use our space around the install (and ended up mounting our TV for us!). We absolutely love the end result and look forward to the next time we get to work with him again!

I am a custom furniture maker in Los Angeles, CA. I had a bed shipped out to a NYC apartment and the headboard wouldn’t fit through the clients bedroom door. I reached out to Jascha and immediately could tell he knew what he was doing by the follow up questions he asked. This was a very high end and expensive piece. I wanted to know that it was in good hands. Jascha cut the piece down only removing as much as necessary to fit it in the room and then mounted the headboard to the wall via French cleats. This level of work is not something most handymen are capable of. Jascha is a step above. Highly recommend, especially if you need very skilled work!

Jascha is a fantastic carpenter and a great guy. He joined a last minute project and was able to complete all of the custom woodwork for a set build in a very quick turnaround. The quality of the work was exceptional and the installation process was a pleasure since he is a very nice guy and eager to help out with anything needed to get the job completed. I would highly recommend Jascha!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some projects are priced on a quote basis, others on an hourly rate. It all depends on the type and scope of work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a conversation to determine the scope of work and get feel for my clients priorities. It’s best to have some inspiration pics of the elements you would like incorporated, and a few shots of the place in your home where it will live. Helpful but not necessary- is a sketch of the dimensions. After we’ve discussed, and I’ve visited for a measure up I will do a 3d model of the piece we discussed and fine tune the design from there. Then fabricate it and install it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent my whole working life developing creative solutions to complex problems, while picking up the craft from some great mentors.
