FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sometimes you may be faced with prices that may not make much sense to you, and you may be asked/required to pay more for something that looks less than for something that looks more. It all depends on the skill required to impeccably complete the task, material cost and level of finishes. No matter for how long the contractor is expected to be working on your project, certain costs will be billed to you no matter what. There's the time needed to get to and from you project, tolls, gas, the time to look for parking, deal/pay for parking ticket, tools, etc. You may be already looking at a few hundred dollars before we show up to your ring your door bell. And, this is for each time we get called.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would first get in contact through text/phone call to discuss and set up a meeting to meet in person and walk the project to better understand the scope of work. Once the scope is set, we will work on a proposal that will contain the scope and price for the project to share with the client. Once the proposal is approved by the client we proceed with defining a clear roadmap of the project for all stakeholders to be aware of the expectations and be able to coordinate accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied architecture both in Milan (Italy) and NYC. I have worked in both Architectural and Engineering Offices for almost a decade before transitioning into construction, first as a Construction Manager for big/national General Contracting firms, then as an Owners Representative for Commercial Real Estate Owners and Managements. I have 10+ years of hands on experience with managing construction projects of all sizes, from a simple apartment renovation, to 100,000 square feet of office renovations.
