I'm a published, full time photography professional with an LLC and Insurance. That stands out in a big way as many folks on Thumbtack are enthusiasts trying to make money on the side. I've been published in the NY Times and Vogue to name a couple of professional credits and have been trusted to shoot a number of celebrities, some of whom are included in the photographs submitted as part of this Thumbtack profile. I'm fortunate enough to have gained dozens of full-time and year-round clients from my Thumbtack bookings, which I'd like to say speaks to both my professionalism as well as my ability to put the clients at ease during the shoot. I'm exceptionally personable (which sounds awfully boastful when writing) but in truth there's a definitive need to make the people you're working with feel comfortable within the framework of a shoot in order to get exceptional results. I've worked with clients from all over the World and have photographed events for both US based and International Corporations and Non-profit organizations. If you hire me through Thumbtack - you're getting my services at a tremendous discount to my normal hourly, event or day rates :) Thumbtack provides a filler for otherwise empty spaces in my schedule. It should also be noted that quotes, especially those received via Thumbtack's "instant match" profiling system are tentative and subject to change given the actual parameters of the job in question. As an example, Weddings and Events should not be lumped together, they are two very different specialities. I'm a member of the Professional Photographers Association as well as the National Press Photographers Association and the United States Press Agency. Specialties include - Family Portraiture, Weddings, Headshots, Engagement, Proposals, Corporate and Non-profit Events as well as Professional and Amateur Sports. As a full time pro - I take the client's expectations and my delivery of a superior product very seriously. As a creative with years of experience, I'm well versed with client interactions, helping them to express the vision they have for the job at hand, and exceeding those expectations. I also enjoy the interaction with clients when on location - those "in the moment" type of shots that help to elevate the work of a pro versus the standard fare delivered by an enthusiast doing photography work on the side. Photography is both a highly technical and creative endeavor - some have one of those two aspects well in hand, far less have both.
