I have hired Mr. Byrd for a charitable event benefiting women victims of human trafficking. The event was held at the Peninsula hotel on Fifth avenue in New York City. Mr. Byrd not only provided outstanding security services, but also contributed as a speaker sharing his experience as a former NYPD. Mr. Byrd is an experienced professional who is also knowledgeable about human trafficking.

In early July 2021, I contacted Michael Byrd for his armed security services. My reasons for seeking protection was rather unique, as I had suffered a physical assault by a relative and wished to feel secure while attending my mother’s funeral, where this relative would also be in attendance with their partner and supporters. From the very beginning, Michael and Tony (his partner) were especially sensitive and understood the trauma I had endured, and were very kind. They listened patiently and answered all of my questions.
Michael and Tony demonstrated the utmost professionalism. Tony was generous with his time, making himself available also evenings and weekends. Doug, my armed protector, met me at the funeral home, the day of. He was well-dressed, personable and never left my side. Michael Byrd’s Security Services greatly helped me in feeling a sense of security and getting me through one of the most difficult periods of my life, and I highly recommend his services!
