Our son has ADHD and Eli does a great job keeping him focused and our son has a blast learning from him. Eli is super kind and definitely understands what works for kids, he incentivizes our son with stickers and things he likes. I went from not knowing anything to moving through all the major scales in a month. She encourages me to learn from the method book, but to also go beyond the book and try to learn songs I enjoy. It is the perfect pace for someone who enjoys independent learning with guidance along the way. She also is so good at meeting you where you are at. So, if you're someone who prefers more attention while learning she is perfect for that too. She makes learning the piano not so intimidating and going to her class really just feels like meeting up with a friend who will teach you to play the piano. I have done three classes with her and already have the fourth one booked. I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon!"See more

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the lessons with Takeru. His deep expertise in classical and jazz music, as well as his profound understanding of harmony and piano techniques, is truly remarkable. Whenever I encounter difficulties with certain phrases or techniques, Takeru quickly identifies the issue and provides tailored exercises and unique learning strategies. Rather than simply telling me to “practice more,” he offers precise guidance on what to practice, how to practice, how often, and what mindset to adopt. His approach to music theory has not only enhanced my ability to analyze and understand music but has also improved my memorization skills—I can now play Bach’s fugue from memory! It has truly been life-changing. As a child, I was forced to learn classical piano and found it unappealing, feeling like mere finger exercises. However, Takeru has rekindled my love for playing music through his inspiring lessons. Studying with him has made me realize how interconnected all music genres are and has completely transformed my perspective on music. I’m excited to continue learning from him.
