I loved shooting with Shante! We did a couples photoshoot that was very budget friendly. She made us feel very comfortable since we never did a photoshoot and weren't sure how to pose. She guided us the whole time and took our ideas into consideration, which I loved. After the photoshoot, she promptly emailed us the contact sheet with all the photos for us to choose. Of course, I had to choose extras because of how amazing the shots were. She gave us extras for a small fee, which I was happy to pay. She answered all my questions through the process and I can say I'm very happy with the results. We love our photos and will be making Shante our go-to photographer! Thanks Shante!

Shante was the photographer at my sisters sweet 16 party. She arrived promptly on time and was professional throughout the experience. She worked with my mother and sister on the types of pictures and angles they would like and gave her professional input combining both to have stunning photos. The photos in the party makes you feel as if you were there at the moment. They are filled with life. She is patient, professional and is a good spirit to be around. No matter the age group, young or old, she vibes well and took great shots. She comes highly recommended and will be used again. Thanks Shante!!

My wife and I did our first photo shoot with Shante in the summer of 2015. I have to say that having my picture taken is not my favorite thing but Shante was able to make the experience very interactive and engaging. Mid way through our one hour session I actually found myself laughing and offering my own suggestions for what the next shot should be.. Our next shoot happens in a few days and ,truth be told, I can't wait to get started...

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do charge a 30% deposit to secure our date and timing for our photo session, the remaining deposit is paid 1-2 days before the portrait session/event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before I work with a new client, I like to speak with them in person or remotely to discuss their expectations for photography. I do my best to maximize the overall experience behind the camera through playing their favorite songs, or using one of my curated playlists. I thrive in knowing that my clients highlight how comfortable they are while shooting, and I continue to bring that experience for both new and returning clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent time at the School of Visual Arts, FIT, and PhotoManhattan.
