Never trust this vendor. I gave him the job out of from kind heart. He will charge you $240 for a simple item that he can't fix and DIAGNOSED it's a plumbing job, while he has absolutely no clue even on a regular three-way connecter that would be needed to connect to the dryer! Even if it's a plumbing job, he asked for $240 for his "diagnosis" that he can't fix but plumber should do it. Seek Thumbtack's protection and refund. This pro should be vented out by Thumbtack! And he will teach (or curse more properly) you and your new born-baby if you happen to hire him with a new born baby. This is my first comment on Thumbtack after many years in usage.

Vivi, you have no entry space in the apartments drain area for a dryer drain hose to fit, I have photos of this. You need a plumber to create a bigger access hole. The dryer had no drain hose and had been draining into the pan under the appliance and the tenants had to discard of the water each time they had to dryer. I diagnosed properly because the tenants thought it was the washer however the dryer was the culprit. This review really affected my account and mentioning I have no clue what I’m doing is derogated information. The truth is Vivi I did this job out the kindness of my own heart, we agreed upon a price and you didn’t hold up your end, no repairman would’ve given you the prices I offered. The tenants mentioned you’ve done this before with prior repairmen and since they never answered the phone to return again.
