Introduction
My name is Mike Chennells, I have been a carpenter for 40 years mostly framing custom homes, building porches and decks and all interior and exterior trim work on the Jersey shore. I have been living in New York since 2010 I provide full drawings with material list for all deck, porch and stair jobs that I do. Payment plans available.

Mike was very responsive and transparent with all communications. He arrived as scheduled, installed my new steps as planned and left the work area very tidy! Very reasonably priced and great quality! I love my new steps!

Mike was very quick to respond to my request about installing crown moulding in my home. He showed up on time and both he and his helper were both very professional. Work was done in a timely manner and to high standards and quality. Would highly recommend MJC Finish Carpentry for any finish work needed.

Mike provided great information and expertise about my project, timely communication, fair price and accurate estimate. Although my budget/project became a DIY, I was able to purchase the amount of finish molding I needed from him. I highly recommend.

We liked the collaboration of his ideas which included our needs and likes. We also liked his professionalism and his quality of work. he’s a very hard worker, eager to please. Even though we had some setbacks based on weather, I was never worried about him completing the job. He presented a written contract and Abided by the terms, there was no surprises.
