Though I went to art school for Advertising Design, my photography skills are self-taught. I've shot as a hobby for years and leaned on advice from other photographers to improve. Shooting film is what helped me finally grasp the fundamentals of photography which is why I enjoy it so much. Early in COVID, I shot proposals, engagements, and weddings as part of a team to get experience in high-pressure scenarios. Those events sharpened my senses and helped me develop as a photographer. Now I prefer to hold sessions with 1-2 people and focus on capturing interesting moments with them.
