FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons: - Discounts are offered for package purchases. Music Entertainment: - My fee for a typical Solo Guitar set is $200 for a 3-hour set. - There are many types of events, and I am happy to offer price quotes for the different band setups that I can offer, including Duets, Jazz Trios and Quartets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At first, the customer will send me a message or e-mail. After laying out the basic request (Lesson or Entertainment) and talking through some basic expectations, we will schedule a call to complete all details about the service. Music Entertainment: We will reach a final agreement after all specifics have been discussed. My clients often provide an initial deposit to hold the date, in which case we will have a contract, if desired, to hold the specified date. I understand different client's expectations and also accept being paid in full the day of the event. Lessons: Our first lesson will be the time to get to know each other, and for me to learn your goals and aspirations as well as understand your motivations. That will determine the plans in the lessons ahead to help you progress the fastest and enjoy the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The guitar has been with me for 17 years. I began when I was 11 and I am now 28. I have a degree in Jazz Composition (Summa Cum Laude) from Berklee College of Music, and I studied privately with the best guitarists of the industry ranging from Heavy Metal to Tango to Jazz, before becoming a professional musician myself. I have also studied composition and music education in depth, including communication skills, learning methods and leadership.
