I am located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Most weddings I cater to are under 200 guests. I also welcome smaller jobs such as elopements, as well as a la carte items and personal flower orders with a $500 minimum spend. I grew up working in a full service florist in the Hamptons, where the work ranged daily from decorating a yacht, a restaurant, a wedding or making prom corsages. Having had the retail experience, I can offer options for a wide range of budgets. Taking on your project means personalized service. Susan was absolutely amazing! From the moment I met her during the first consultation, I knew I would choose her for my wedding day. As a bride, it was instrumental for me to find someone I could trust with the ceremony and reception decorations. Susan was easy to communicate with and she was flexible throughout the planning process. I initially showed her my preferred style and she captured all ideas perfectly. Leading up to the big day, I even made some last minute changes, and she listened to every detail I had in mind. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
boutonnieres- $15 corsages- $35 bridal bouquets- start at $150 Let me know what your budget is. I do not have a minimum for weddings which many event companies do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am happy to meet for a free consultation in the NYC area. Otherwise, I have also worked with quite a few clients who are from out of town and need to set up an event in NYC via email and phone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this for most of my life. I was drafted at an early age into working for my family's full scale retail florist in Sag Harbor, NY which is still in business today. I have also freelanced for various florists and event design companies in NYC. Now I run my own business!
