Cal really opened my eyes to how much I didn’t know about fashion. I had been stuck using the same few styles that I’d been attached to since high school. Cal showed me how to express my growth as an individual through what I wear. He listened to my current needs and my previous philosophy about dressing myself and came back with a new strategy that was exactly what I was looking for - An update that was still true to who I am, but in new ways that I had never considered. Who knew that the right pair of jeans could completely change your wardrobe so much Haha. I don’t have a classic model body type, but Cal really showed me what fits work best to make me feel confident about my body. Cal was always responsive when I had questions or wanted to add anything to the concept we were building. Doing things virtually made things convenient and Cal was always good about finding the time to help me out. I really felt like he was taking care of me and my needs. His use of technology made everything so simple. The mood board and look book were intuitive and made buying what I liked quick and easy. Most of all he’s just a really fun and easy person to talk to, which made the whole experience way more enjoyable.

It was engaging as there was a survey to assess character followed by an introductory Zoom call. This let me know that there was a real intention to provide a quality service. Additionally, there was a first draft with feedback and direction which I think was appropriately applied. The final board was accurate to the aesthetic and style I was looking to embody. The service was helpful in that it helped me visualize a direction in what I’d like to pursue. It was a nice way to collect my goal aesthetics into one place. It also helped solidify and materialize these thoughts and ideas into something tangible and attainable!

My pricing comes in the form of packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, a consultation with a new customer is where I start to learn about them and their journey with fashion. What are their goals? Why are they seeking a stylist? What has and has not worked in the past? etc. From there, depending on the package selected, there is everything from Zoom fittings to mood boards so we can craft the best experience for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a personal stylist in a variety of retail spaces over the last 8 years. Most notabl Nordstrom where I was a Personal Stylist. I worked closely with repeat customers as their resource for styling and wardrobe consulting. I have also completed a Personal Styling Certification & Menswear Styling Certification course from the School of Style Academy. My combination of textbook and real world experience brings a unique eye for your wardrobe.
