I've been working in the Pest Control industry for over 10 years now. I started off working for a few companies until I was able to start my own business. I'm very thorough and clean. I take my time on any job to eliminate the problem properly and efficiently. I'll treat your home as if it was my own. To eliminate pest problems my procedure is as follows: Looking behind all major appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer) Also in cabinets, closets and around baseboard heating and radiators. I couldn’t recommend Mike enough for a professional who is committed to solving your pest issues. Mike was able to arrive at my home within a few hours of my initial outreach and did a thorough inspection for possible entry points of pests and found quite a few past exterminators had missed. When our issue didn’t resolve itself after his first visit, he continued to stay in touch on the activity we were seeing in the home and revisited our home (free of charge) to do another walk through and assessment, providing additional recommendations and actions of how to remedy the problem. I wildly appreciate how communicative and proactive Mike is on helping us solve our problem. I’ve recommended him to other tenants in our building and will recommend him here whole heartedly as well.

Mike Bak was exceptional at eliminating our roach problem. He was knowledgeable and carefully explained the process beforehand. His professionalism was shown in his thorough approach, as he carefully inspected and treated each cabinet and area of our kitchen and bathroom. He took special care while moving our appliances. He also wiped off the counters after treatment, to ensure our pets safety. Mike was punctual as well as responsive via phone and text. It is evident in every aspect of interacting with Mike that he takes pride in his work and truly cares about helping others with their pest control problems.

Mike Bak is the definition of a true professional. From our initial contact on Thumbtack to his last of 3 visits to our home, he was punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough, too! Mike literally emptied out our cabinets and almost completely went underneath our kitchen sink and countertops and inspected every single corner and crevice with a flashlight, searching for bugs and vermin and any access areas, such as small or large holes or cracks in our wall or wood. He carefully used fairly odorless extermination chemicals and placed glue traps underneath our fridge and other hard to reach areas that pests seem to live hiding out in. He also carefully swept away any poop, eggshells, and other pest-related, bug debris and quickly and safely disposed of it. My husband and I were so impressed and so grateful to Mike for his careful attention to our home, especially because we have a toddler. At the end of each service, Mike made sure to wipe down any surfaces and even our floors with Lysol wipes so that we would not make any contact with the chemicals; we were so grateful for his meticulous care and thoughtfulness. Mike came to our home 3 three times as part of our initial treatment and it was extremely effective to say the least. We are hardly seeing any pests now, and though we see one or two here and there, it is nothing compared to what we were seeing before. Mike’s services were a great value for the money and we will be inviting him back to our home in two months to repeat the treatment so we can eliminate any lingering pests completely. We live in an apartment complex in Harlem and need to redo our kitchen in order to be rid of them completely, but we are not able to afford a new kitchen at the time and Mike’s services completely put us at ease and has allowed us to continue saving for this purpose. Thank you, Mike, for your professionalism and incredible job. We are so happy we found you! We have already referred your services to some of our friends!

Prices may vary depending on what kind of pest it is, the size of the home to be treated, and the depth of the infestation. Most pests need to be treated two or three times before they are eradicated. These are estimates. Call or text for more details. Inspections: $60
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New or existing customers all get treated the same way. I spend as much time needed in the home to find the source of the problem to eliminate it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took classes to get my pesticide license and learned how to eliminate pests properly. I've worked for a few companies before starting my own business.
