FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin working with every new client by conducting a complementary fitness assessment. This includes a thorough discussion of the client's health history and fitness objectives, measurement of baseline readings such as weight, blood pressure and body fat percentage, and then physical testing of cardiovascular and muscular strength, flexibility and balance. From the results of the assessment I develop a comprehensive exercise program for my clients, which is constantly adapted and tailored to the client's specific needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am nationally certified with the American Council on Exercise since 2009 with 13 years of professional experience. I am also certified in Pre & Post Natal training, CPR/AED and First Aid, and trained in post-physical therapy training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been exercising for 30 years and it is my life's passion. It was my avocation until 2009 when I decided to commit my career to exercise, health and wellness. Soon after entering the business, my inherent patience and natural empathy became a seamless match, particularly with clients aged 60+ and people with special health conditions.
