FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In Nevada, notarization fees are determined by the state. A notary may charge less, but they cannot charge more. Notary fees start at $10 for the first signature if I'm traveling to you plus a travel fee, $15 if you come to me with no travel fees. Please note that by law all notaries must post their fees upfront. I do discount my travel fees for teachers, military and first responders. People who live their lives in service of others mean a lot to me. Wedding vow exchange with paperwork filing starts at $50, full ceremonies start at $80. We can work with you to have a friend conduct your ceremony and have us handle the legal side.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to have a conversation with my client to ensure we are on the same page with what's needed. Communication is everything. I'm also a firm believer in being punctual, and re-verifying ahead of time dates, times and locations to avoid any confusion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a notary certification for the State of Nevada, renewed as of May 11, 2022 (four year certification). I'm also licensed as a wedding officiant to perform ceremonies throughout the state of Nevada.
