Introduction
I have 55 years of experience. I studied jazz with Ted Greene.
I can read and write script and tab. I am a first place winner in Steve Vai's Las Vegas "Best In Shred" contest.
I will teach beginners to advanced. I teach theory, chord and scale study, tapping, legato, harmonics, shredding, modal playing and blues-style pentatonics like Hendrix, etc.
If you want to learn your favorite song, learn to improvise or anything in between, I'll be able to help.

Bob Driscoll has been teaching guitar to my son weekly for about 5 years. He is a wonderful instructor because he has passion for what he does and loves teaching. He teaches adults as well, but he is very good with children. He just connects with people of all ages. He cares about his students; in fact, he feels like a member of the family.
In all the time that my son has been taking lessons, he hasn't complained about having to have a lesson. He enjoys Bob's method of instructor because Bob tailors his teaching to his students' abilities and needs. They have fun while learning, which means my son is still studying guitar at age 17 and enjoying it (having quit other extra-curricular activities after a year or so). My son is actually very good and played at his cousin's wedding.
Bob is responsible, punctual and always helpful and enthusiastic. I couldn't be happier with his service over the years.

Bob is a great teacher! He is a very accomplished guitar player, but has patience to teach a beginner. He does not get frustrated if I don't understand something. He takes his time to make sure I am playing correctly before we move on. I go to his home, which is very close to mine. It is welcoming and I feel very safe. I highly recommend Bob as a teacher for any skill level.
