Introduction
I am originally from North Texas, but I have been living in Albuquerque for about the last 4 years with my wife and our two dogs (Oille & Hannah). We love to travel and take photos of the New Mexico landscape and sunsets. I use nothing but the best equipment (Nikon Z mirrorless camera body; Nikkor & Tamron Lens; Godox flash system; Angler Softboxes; etc). I grew up around my father’s old dark room helping him develop old style film and have always had a passion for the art of photography. Thank you, Ben Vickers Photography for the amazing photos you took of our shelter pets! You really captured the details of how different each dog looks from the next one. AND - we know photographing dogs is NOT an easy thing to do and yet, each picture has so much character. With your lovely pictures showcasing our shelter dogs, it was great teamwork and will hopefully help those dogs get adopted sooner. We hired Ben Vickers Photography to do Christmas pet photos of our dog Stanley. Not only did he capture Stanleys personality, but he was very responsive and very easy to work with. He provided a free 5x7 sample print of one of the photos that we ended up purchasing for about 20 Christmas cards. They look great and the turnaround was very quick since he prints himself. We recently had the pleasure of working with Ben Vickers to capture photos of our adoptable BernCo animals, and he did a fantastic job! He was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help our team showcase our animals. We are grateful for him volunteering with the Bernalillo County Animal Care Services!
