FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to my pricing I only charge for labor, I estimate how long it will take me to do the job and just charge for that time. If you prefer for me to pick up/buy material I expect that payment upfront or day 1 of project, for the most part I’m fine with being paid at the end of the job. For bigger projects I prefer to do progressive payments, break it off in sections and get paid after every section is done just to avoid any headaches.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is to meet the client to see in person the work needed to be done, I take the clients email and work up an estimate with the understanding of what needs to be done, if accepted I prefer a 30% payment of labor plus materials up front then the rest when job is finished, but depending on the length of the job or if this is a returning client payment method changes. I have the client sign an agreement and provide a copy at the end as a receipt of work completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training has all been hands on, currently I am working on studying for my general contractors license
