TLDR: These guys are awesome. Stop looking at reviews and just call them. I hired Marvin and his crew to cut the ivy off all the trees on my property and trim back the extremely overgrown ivy beds. I ended up also having them do a big leaf cleanup since my previous landscaper never came by to do it. It was a ridiculous amount of work altogether - probably enough leaves and trimmings to fill a swimming pool. I've tried at least 5 or 6 other landscapers over the years and it hasn't gone well. Some don't want to deal with backing large trucks into my driveway because I live on a busy road. One guy left after working for 15 minutes then billed me for 3 hours (I don't think he knew I was home at the time). Another cut down all the flowers in my planter boxes while cutting the grass. Basically, I'd given up on finding someone who would do a good job for a reasonable price and had just gotten used to my yard looking terrible. After hearing good things about Thumbtack I decided to try finding someone on here. I'm so glad I did because Marvin's company hadn't come up in my previous google searches, and they are easily the best landscapers I've found in the area. Reliable, friendly, knowledgeable - no complaints! They did an absolutely fantastic job. I'm looking forward to working with them next spring to get the rest of my yard fixed up, and plan to have them take over the routine lawn maintenance as well. Thanks again, Marvin!
