Apparently Bill’s insurance company takes an entire week to email his customers a certificate of insurance so rather than let his customers know, Bill told me that I should have asked for it a week ago rather than giving me a heads up when I scheduled the job a week ago. Not sure how it’s on the customer to know the ins and outs of someone else’s policy but any business owner with common sense would make customers aware of the delay or submit the request proactively to avoid losing a job. When I suggested we call the insurance company together just to verify his coverage since the email wasn’t received, I was told I’m not special and I’m just like everyone else. I was trying to work with him to troubleshoot and proceed with the job. So after renting a truck so that I could ensure the insulation Bill was scheduled to install would be here on time, he did not show up and after I spoke to him 45 minutes after he was supposed to be here, he told me I should find someone else. If you own a business and carry insurance, the company should not take so long to send out an email that the business owner loses business but that’s not my problem. Blaming your customers because you chose a terrible insurance company though, that’s a problem.

Details: Residential • Improving energy efficiency • Managing moisture • Basements and crawlspaces • 1 room • Batt, Rolled, or Reflective insulation

May 3 I did an inspection for Michael we didn't agree on service until May 9th schedule work for May 18th I was called on May 17th and ask for a COI I immediately took customer information and forward it to my insurance company. insurance company policies is 3 to 7 days it's been like that since covid-19 with loss of staff with that in mind the usually email the customer within 2 days. I explained on of this to the customer. I have no control on the insurance company policies and procedures. If I was notified at the time of the agreement it would've been done. I also explained to customer as soon as he recieved the email I would schedule the job. My company has 5 star rating on Angie Leads we take pride in servicing our customers. Sorry we couldn't help
