We reached out to Storms Land Services, LLC based on all the great reviews in Thumbtack. We had just put a new deck on the house and were stumped on how to coordinate with landscaping. Conner Storms came to the rescue. He gave us a lot of ideas of what we could do within our budget. He basically created a wonderful landscape project that even included stepping stones off the deck and around the concrete patio. Conner is exceptional, dedicated and reliable. He gave us a great quote and had this job finished in no time. He was on time, courteous and professional. He wanted to make sure we were satisfied with his ideas and if we wanted to change anything. He went above and beyond to make our yard look amazing. We are so happy with the results that we will be using his services in the future. We highly recommend that if you have a landscaping or excavation project, Conner is your man.

Connor came out for an estimate as scheduled and came out to do the work on the date and time he said he would. He was removing a lot of heavy brush and woody vines. He was careful not to damage the fence that they were leaning on. He was very professional and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend him for any land clearing work.

Highly recommend Storms Landscaping. Connor was very professional, courteous and friendly. The work provided was exceptional. Connor gave me a very reasonable quote for the removal of shrubs and trimming of trees/bushes on our property. The job was performed in a timely manner, bringing our yard back to life. Everything was cleaned up well. I would definitely recommend Storms Landscaping and will be using them in the future.

I would highly recommend Storms Landscaping! I had been working with a different contractor on a large project that would consist of excavation of dozens of trailer beds of dirt, building a ~60ft timber retaining wall, planting 10 green giants, adding matting and stone, installing a ~400 sq ft paver patio, and re-grading. The project dragged on the entire summer and in mid-September that contractor up and left out of the blue. Not only was it the end of the season but our yard was a mess and not anywhere close to completion. I could go on about that horrible experience, but most importantly the best thing I did was get in touch with Connor at Storms Landscaping. Right off the bat Connor showed compassion and wanted to help finish the project. There was a lot to be done and he had a lot of pieces to pick up. List of what all needed to be completed: plenty of dirt and debris to remove, a timberwall maybe a quarter of the way done that needed corrections, all the bushes to plant, all the matting and stone to add, grading to be done, and top soil and grass seed to add. See the before and after photos. He worked on weekends and got everything done in only a few weeks! Connor was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always on time and up front about his plans for a given day and when he'd arrive. He was an excellent communicator and followed through on everything. I'm very happy with the work done. In the end Connor saved the day!

Details: Residential • 1-5 shrubs • Less than 4 feet tall

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I will ask for pictures up front and ask for a more general idea of what you want done. Then from there, I will schedule a time to meet with you and come up with a solution to solve your problems and leave you with a product you will enjoy for years. And most importantly, stay in your budget!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

With 10 years working the landscaping industry, and 4 years working in the excavation/ site work field, I have learned, observed, and self-taught myself what works and what does not.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be open to new ideas! Even though you know what you want, a professional might be able to offer other ideas that may look better, work better, and be more cost effective.
