FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For all projects, prices can be negotiated and after consultation with the client, it can be decided if we will go with an hourly rate ($60) or a flat fee. There are many factors to determining which payment method works better and could include: the scope of project, anticipated amount of revisions or simply what the client is comfortable with. Either way, you get top-notch design.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to consult with the client by phone to determine the scope of the job, timing and if we both feel like it's a good fit to work together. This way we can be on the same page moving forward. I can then provide a written estimated cost for the job. I ask for 50% payment up front and the remainder upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best teacher I've had has been over 20 years experience in graphic design. Early in my career after I was already working as an in-house designer at a large music company, I attended classes at Parson's School of Design. These classes helped clarify and validate what I was already doing. I have experience working with a variety of clients with a diversity of aesthetic inclinations and they have all walked away as a happy customer.
