Hello! My name is Mike, and I have been a Howell resident for 10 years. I own a small hvac business that serves most areas of NJ. I am known by my customers as honest, reliable, and friendly! I do not advertise much because I believe "word-of-mouth" is the BEST advertisement, and it has worked for me for many years! I take care of my customers and always do my best to go above and beyond. I just had Mike and his team from MJM out to activate a Minisplit system I installed myself. 2 other contractors I contacted said they wouldn’t service equipment installed by someone else, but Mike said no problem. His crew showed up promptly when I was ready and completed the work. My units are blowing cold and I’m happy Mike was willing to take on the project.

Mike was the nicest guy! I attempted to install the google nest thermostat and quickly realized that something was wrong. The thermostat was not recognizing the wires. I quickly looked for a professional in my area. Mike was fast and quickly came to my house! He identified the issue right away (I had blown the fuse in the furnace) he fixed that issue and then installed the thermostat. Walked me through the set up process and got it working again!! At the time of payment, he very kindly declined as it was something fast and easy! It took me by surprise. He insisted that nonpayment was required. Thank you Mike for your kindness and great work! I will definitely be booking him for any future needs!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tell everyone I'm the working man's hvac company. We charge a fair amount for the work we do and have had customers for many, many years because the customer comes before money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually come out and inspect the unit or units free of charge. We then find out what issues they have with their current system and will come up with a game plan to get them what they need and want at an affordable and competitive price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Master HVAC Contractor license - Plumbing classes at OCVTS completed - Bi-yearly recertification for NJ Master Contractor License - Home Improvement Contractors License
