Ernest was terrific. It is not possible to overstate his excellence. He was confronted with an extremely difficult task of fixing a 25 year old door, which is our main egress to our backyard. The lock and door handle assembly had failed, preventing the door from closing (and locking). He exhibited incredible patience, taking apart the handle and lock assembly. I watched as a master handyman did some incredibly fine work. Ernesto determined that the lock was unrepairable and had to be replaced. At that point 99 out of 100 handymen would have said, sorry but the door was unrepairable. Not Ernesto!!! He left my house, and went on a mission impossible to locate a lock replacement for this 25 year old door. Two hours later he returned with the lock replacement. He located the part at a store in Morristown. I have no idea how he knew to go to that particular store in Morristown of all places to find the part. His charge for performing this fix-it miracle was incredibly reasonable and fair. I recommend Ernesto to everyone needing a highly competent handyman to fix whatever needs to be fixed, if Ernesto says he can fix "it.". I rated him 5 stars, but he deserves a sixth star!

Ali over at Ernest is extremely responsive, kind, accommodating and respectful. It was my first time working with this company and he went above and beyond to ensure that services were delivered as promised. The handyman arrived right on time. Despite the complexity of one of the pieces, he stayed calm and focused for the entire duration he was around. He understood the assembly instructions and was pretty hands on. He kept things very clean and did not rush the job which I really appreciate because it gave me the peace of mind that he was taking care of my flooring and walls. I like to work with the same folks for years if I have a good experience once. Ernest will be my go-to for handyman services and I will surely recommend them to family and friends in the neighborhood.
