- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What I try to do is work with the budget of each and every customer. Everyone's budget needs are different,and my only wish is that every customer here at Thumbtack understands that quotes that are given are designed to narrow down the needs of the customer and their specific budget areas.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One, I always respond ASAP to all my customers because their needs are very important to me and I want them to feel at ease and wanted,because they are.I get as much information as possible .The more I know,the better I can serve them when it's time to work for them. Getting a definitive plan on paper helps me keep their event organized and creates an easy flow once it's time to DJ for them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working in college radio at Plymouth State University in 1976,and so many people loved my show,I started getting inquiries about DJing parties all around campus. I decided to invest some money in a quality sound system and music,and off I went ! It has been over 35 years,and my love for music has turned into a very successful business .
