- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my prices are negotiable. Depending on location, number of photographs, level of editing, how fast you want to receive the finished work can all help decide a fair price for you. I do charge a $1 per mile fee if I’m traveling over 25 miles.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, we negotiate the job before hand. Meet and shoot the same day. Then once I receive payment they will receive the photographs. Depending on the number of photographs, my schedule and the level of editing requested. It may take up to two to four weeks to receive the photos. Some events can have over 500+ photos and need an large amount of time to touch up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied visual arts my entire life. For years I’ve been surrounded by other professional artists, all with extremely different backgrounds. When I decided to dive into photography, instead of my other art forms, I took a self education approach. I taught myself everything with the help of some instructional online courses.
