Erik and his crew did a great job, especially with a very heavy, large, WHITE couch that had to be moved down several flights of stairs (and sustained no damage and no dirtiness during the move!!) amongst other large pieces. We are very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism they provided. Erik was cheerful, which is very comforting during a stressful move, and a good communicator - he made sure I was informed of the plan every step of the way. He took extra care to make sure our things would be secure in the truck when we drove away, even though they were not hired to transport the items. We would not have been able to make our move without this crew, and we are so grateful for their care and attention!

I selected American Moving and Hauling after, I realized another company I selected was not Intrastate Certified Movers. When I called back they gave me the same offer. They gave my wife and I timely responses via text and email whenever we had a question. When the faithful moving day came. My movers were very Professional, Punctual, and Diligent. The Crew Leader, Sean, was a absolute pleasure. I had to some paper work with him and by the time we finished, the other movers: Brandon, Boysie, and Eric were about half way done with moving our stuff into the truck. The women owned moving company comes at my VERY high recommendation. Made the entire day stress free.

I was searching for a moving company that specialized in moving appliances. American Moving and Hauling responded and within 48 hours of my request, the move was scheduled, confirmed and a team was at my door! For me, moving is stressful and having hired 2 companies to complete one move, I was very apprehensive. My trepidation began to melt away while speaking with the customer service representative who assured me, I would have a good experience. It dissolved as soon as the moving team leader requested to walk through the property with me and identify all the items to be moved. Once identified, the team quickly packed up the remaining items including the washer and dryer, and soon, I was doing the final walk through! With the previous two companies, “quick” meant damaged items and property as well as items left behind because the team had to get to another job. This team was fast and efficient! Moreover, they not only packed and moved all items to prevent breakage, but they did not damage my property. Additionally, they removed all debris before leaving! American Moving and Hauling’s customer service is exceptional! They are friendly, dependable, conscientious, trustworthy and professional! The old adage, “third time’s a charm” is true! Our move is now complete; however, I should have “done it right the first time” and hired American Moving and Hauling, Inc.!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge hourly for local moves and labor only services. Packing is a per box charge and includes the box, materials, and time it takes to pack the box. For long distance moves we charge based on the weight and distance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we like to find out the details of your move- what you are moving, from what and to where. All these things matter! We like to determine your particular needs and expectations. We can then walk you through the moving process, including cost and services offered. We also offer free onsite estimates to better determine your cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in business 17 years and have plenty of experience! We are hard workers and have moved thousands of people over the years.
