Hello, and welcome to Sea Glass Photography of Wilmington. I am a North Carolina photographer, elementary school teacher, and mother to three girls, (all of which are the things I am most passionate about.) I believe all of this contributes to my ability to truly connect with my clients as well as my skills as a seasoned photographer. I have been a professional photographer for more than fifteen years and I still strive to perfect my craft each and every day. My fun and lighthearted approach to my sessions allows me to get the most authentic versions of you and your family. Whether it's family portraits, engagements and weddings, maternity, headshots, or high school/college senior portraits, my goal is to provide you with amazing portraits and an amazing experience!

Kim is absolutely phenomenal, she showed up with a akimbo cameras like a photo gunslinger, she was phenomenal absolutely lovely to work with. She has a very keen eye for shots. And was willing to go above and beyond for our wedding photos! If I could give 6 stars I would!

Kym was amazing!! For context I reached out as a tourist in her area ahead of our trip to coordinate photography of a surprise proposal for my sister (on behalf of my brother in law). Kym was very responsive, quick to provide reference photos to different areas as we were not locals and had never been on location before, and she helped pull off a seamless (almost) surprise proposal. I say almost because the weather did not want to cooperate. Obviously no fault of Kym’s and she was extremely accommodating, offering to change the date to a better weather day. However we were too deep and afraid my sister would catch on if we switched days. The weather was in fact subpar, and Kym was so amazing that she offered to come back out the next day and continue the shoot to try and get better photos. Can’t recommend her enough, we would absolutely hire her again! Thank you again for everything Kym!!

Kym was an awesome photographer. She was great with my kids, even had smarties in her fanny pack to bribe my 3 yr old when she didn't want to smile. We couldn't be happier with the way our photos turned out! We will definitely use her again the next time we vacation in North Myrtle!

I hired Kym for photos of our family of 13. She was fantastic -- spent time with me on the phone to make a plan, suggested a great location (none of us are local), and captured beautiful images. She was flexible with our poses & groupings. Best of all, she provided an edited set of good photos rather than leaving us with a "photo dump" to wade through. I'd hire her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies based on the type of session and the number of people in your group. My average family session receives a minimum of 35 retouched photos available for digital download in your personal gallery. Please note heavy editing is at an additional cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love connecting with my clients! I prefer to speak with them directly, however, texting and emailing are fine!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years as a professional photographer and I am also an elementary school literacy specialist of almost 20 years. I am extremely passionate about both! I feel this enables me to truly connect on a personal level which proves to keep my clients coming back year after year!
