FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The main thing I’d love to get out there is some understanding that this is how we make our living. Which is why most companies have minimums and service fees. Just fuel alone to travel 60 plus miles while hauling tools costs money. I’d love for some of the really small jobs to be down the street, I wouldn’t really make any money, because I’d end up doing them for next to nothing. For me they’re always a ways out, so a service charge is only fair. Fuel is only one small part of the bigger picture expenses. …..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Doing my best to establish a good line of communication. Focusing on understanding what is being requested. From there staying on the same page and delivering what is requested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learning each stage of construction for building homes was a priceless experience. From there more than 15 years of hands on experience from foundations, to framing, roofing, insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, windows and doors and cabinetry.
