FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This can vary a lot, but pricing begins at $70/hr for the most basic of services (e.g. data validation). Pricing increases with more advanced analysis techniques, visualization needs, software required, etc. It is important that I accurately understand your specific use case. For this reason, instead of throwing out a wild guess of cost in our initial messages, I request we first have a free 30 min consultation to make sure I understand all your requirements. In this way, we can answer each other's questions, and then I can provide you with a much more accurate per hour or total project cost quote for your budgeting consideration.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I pride myself on fast responses! Upon receiving your initial message, I'll message back asking for a date, time (including time zone!), and contact email to set up a free 30 min consultation to discuss your project. I use Google Meet for my meetings which works very similarly to products like Zoom and Teams. During the consultation, I'll ask you for a overview of your project. As we talk, I'll ask more questions over specific details, software, etc. At the end, I'll ask you about desired outputs and, crucially, any deadlines. Shorter timelines will incur additional charges for 'rush' orders. Once we've completed this process, I'll go over my notes and evaluate my available resources. In many cases, I may ask for you to send me your data (or a sample of it) in order to better assess what I'm looking at. Finally, I send back to you a quote outlining what we discussed. Throughout the project, I may request additional meetings to review progress, clarify data questions, or get feedback on presentation. It's my goal to work closely with you to provide exactly what you're looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With 17+ years professional experience ranging from sales, to marketing, to logistics & planning, product ownership/management, and finally CEO of my own company, I have acquired a wide array of skillsets tailored to all varieties of industry needs. Data has always been my passion and focus, and I want to bring my experience to your unique requirements. Educationally, I was awarded a PhD in Technology Management and doubled-down with a M.S. in Statistics. In addition to my publications, I have been involved with the American Statistics Association, presented at conferences, received awards, and have been awarded contract positions with companies such as Lenovo. Learning is a lifelong process and one of my greatest passions.
