The contractor showed up and performed the work on my water heater ( replacing a relief valve) I was impressed with the work as everything appeared to be working fine ( it wasn’t leaking anymore) However after a few hours the valve started leaking again. I immediately reached out to Giovanni and received no response, I sent pictures and all to show the water was coming from the hose on the water heater. No response. I waited a while before I reached out again. I had noticed that he replaced the valve with a different BTU. I originally had 500,000 BTU valve and he replaced it with 105,000 BTU valve. I reached out again to ask why was that the case and could that be the reason that is still leaking and if he could possibly come out to replace it with the correct valve,again no response. I’ve learned my lesson that was $150 wasted. I am very hesitant to use Thumbtack again because of this. Not sure they have qualified contractors or just people who say they do the work. This is a shame too, because I really wanted to have him remodel my bathroom. I’ll pass with this type of customer service!
