I received bids from 6 roofers, all on Thumbtack. Hugh Wheeler of Precision Roofing was very customer-oriented. His packet of information was the most complete, including certificate of insurance, the complete contract with costs itemized, shingle options, and pricing was in the middle of the bidders (one bid was only verbal, others were a little more detailed). He was always responsive to my inquiries and worked with me on the date of installation. His demeanor and that of his crew was respectful and professional. We did have a little timing set back—mostly due to my home owners insurance and a week delay for the crew to arrive. The roof was replaced in less than a full day and the crew cleaned up all areas, even vacuuming for nails. There are two other ancillary jobs—power washing my gutters and fixing my chimney cap that are expected to be finished soon.
