Our garage door was having issues opening and closing at random times. E.L. Garage came out and quickly diagnosed two issues and charged us a fair price. He also pointed out that the springs that were previously installed my our last technician weren’t strong enough for our heavy door. My husband reminded me later that day that the person who had installed those for us a couple years ago charged over $500! (And didn’t even install the right size springs!) Our door has been opening/closing perfectly since E.L came out so we will use him again if/when we need to replace anything.

We had a garage door that wouldn't open either with the motor or manually, so a car trapped inside that we needed to make an appointment and run errands. Idan was very responsive and prioritized our project. He was very patient with questions and thorough in the work. Would definitely us him again!

I would like to add Value of product and Promptness to the reason I gave 5 stars (the app only let me check 3 boxes!). I highly recommend E.L. Garage Door for any garage door repair and garage door opener installation. Exceptional, Professional, Great Communication via text in the Thumbtack App and via phone. They accommodated my schedule and came out on a Sunday! My old wood garage door repair was very challenging and they persisted until the door worked better than ever and THEN stayed well after dark to install the garage door opener. Every step of the way they explained what they were doing and why.
If I do ever need any further garage services, I will be calling E.L. Garage Door & More.

The experience was great. Rather than immediately going to the replacement of various parts they spent time to diagnose and test options to improve the existing garage door. They were happy to explain in detail the process of troubleshooting and what appeared to be the issue causing the door to not reliably raise and lower.
After attempting some adjustments to the existing system, it was determined that the springs would need to be replaced in order to get the door back to working order. This replacement was done well and quickly and the door is quieter than before and has been reliably working again.

Not sure what’s wrong with Thumbtack, I wrote a review for EL Garage Door earlier and it never posted, that would be my only complaint. In regard to EL Garage Door & More they where very professional, responded quickly and even provided service sooner than they had expected. Stayed in regular contact with me so that I knew what was going on and that my service would be provided sooner than expected, it was explained to me what parts where needed, the parts cost and the labor cost. I agreed and the repair started right away and was finished in 45 minutes. Everything was checked in my presence, I was provided with a year warranty and I was given a Senior Discount without even asking.
If you are in need of garage door repair, I highly recommend EL Garage adopt and More
