Klean N Klear has over 30 years of experience with dryers. While we provide an excellent service of cleaning dryer vents, our main goal is to educate our customers concerning fire safety/prevention. While many similar services clean the vents, Klean N Klear goes beyond and actually cleans the entire dryer where the fire would start *upon customer request*. I was very impressed with Klean N Clear. Nick was very professional and even wore foot coverings upon entering my home. He left everything perfectly clean after working on our dryer vent. He resolved a problem I had been dealing with since purchasing a new dryer which was malfunctioning due to clogged vent ducts. I highly recommend

Klean and Klear not only reduced multiple fire hazards from my dryer vents, but helped diagnose my broken dryer and gave tips to my husband on how to fix it himself. They were so responsive and scheduled promptly. Definitely plan to continue to use for keeping my dryer vents, which fill up with pet hair etc, clean and safe!

Klein and Klear was very, very, good at the task he completed. Knowledgeable and experience was the key factors with me. He got right into the matter of the dust in the vents. Right from the start, from responding to multiple questions with clarity, and giving me a quote right within the Thumbtack app, I knew I would hire Nick to clean out the dyer vent. Once we agreed on a time, he showed up right within the window and texted me before he was few minutes away. Once he came in, he was very professional in introducing himself. After unplugging the dryer, he went right into the attic since my dryer vents through the roof, and he disconnected the flex hoses held together with duct tape from a previous cleaning. He advised me he recently retired from a laundry business where he worked for over 30 years, he advised duct tape should not be used and metallic tape should be used. He cleaned thoroughly with a brush tool and removed all lint. The hoses at the back of the dryer, the clean-out port and hose connection piece coming out of the dryer were also cleaned thoroughly. I also opted for the actual dryer cleaning, he opened up the dryer and cleaned all lint inside as well. He advised, contrary to perception, dryer fires do not start in the hose but rather inside the dryer. Lastly he found a dead sparrow inside the cleaning port! The small bird must have been curious or scouting for a nest and must have fallen down the roof vent, he said. I found my regular dryer vent cleaning company and will hire him when next cleaning is due. Best of luck to all reading this review, I recommend get your dryer vents cleaned regularly and thanks Nick ! Oh and yes he used metallic tape to reconnect the hoses in the attic.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is fair and honest. There are never any additional hidden fees. All of our additional services are offered upfront before every job so that our customers know exactly what they are paying for. Beginning March 1, 2019 we are offering $10 off our combined vent & interior dryer cleaning. All of our work is guaranteed and we are fully insured residentially and commercially.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost we inquire if there are any issues with the dryer. We identify the exact service that is needed and where the dryer is located. We explain our step by step process and educate the consumer on dryer fire prevention.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 30 years experience in servicing dryers. We set ourselves apart from other ompanies because we go the extra mile by disassembling the dryer and clean the interior which most companies do not offer. We have the skill, experience and know how to get the job done.
