Ken is an extremely friendly and genuine guy. He had a wedding the day I was looking for my floors to be redone but he came by the night before to finalize the plan, and make sure we had all the right materials (I decided to order some flooring online before finding a pro). He introduced me to his guys who would to the job (normally he'd be there too, but the wedding). They did a great job, stayed late to finish, and Ken stayed in touch the whole time. He also came the next day to go over it all with me. It was WAY better than 50Floor who did the original install.

Kenneth is a real gem of a guy! He worked well within my budget, he did extra stuff to ensure that the job looked clean. He was very flexible with working as my schedule allowed. He was also honest with his assessment - he gave me options on how to remedy my floor problems & gave me cost breakdown of each one. The final job looked very clean.

Ken responded immediately to the request for services and drove to Raleigh from Chapel Hill (during rush hour!) to keep his appointment. When we explained the scope of this small project (removing carpet and laying flooring in one room adjoining an older laminate floor), he examined the possibilities and the complications of joining unmatched flooring with the older flooring, pointing out that the two floors would not be level thus creating a hazard that would need to be rectified by additional subfloor. He calculated the cost using different options and encouraged us to consider these. He was thoughtful, quick and very responsive to our questions. We have worked with many professionals through various projects over the years, and would have been delighted to work with him. His advice led us to go in another direction---redo the carpet and avoid the possible hazard of uneven floors. When we asked if we could pay him for his time, he refused. Very professional. Highly recommended!
