FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer includes a brief consultation. We can either meet in-person at a mutual location (typically a coffee shop) or we can have a consultation call. During the consultation, we will discuss potential locations, poses, props and any other details of concern for the session. After the consultation, I'll communicate with the customer as much as needed so that their questions and concerns are addressed. I also send an encouraging friendly reminder the day before of the time and location we agreed upon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Broadcast Journalism and part of my studies included learning how to capture both still and moving images using professional camera equipment. I personally believe that experience has been the best teacher as working on various creative projects has afforded me the opportunity to grow as a photographer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to pursue photography full time because I was often asked to serve as a photographer after sharing my uncommissioned work with colleagues, family, and friends. I wasn't sure if it would be a career I would pursue full time, but I truly enjoy the work.
