If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I needed a photographer for 2 hours for a small wedding. I went through several profiles on thumbtack looking for a good fit and landed on EM Media. I started my message pointing out that it was a small 2 hr job and asked if he could do it, Enfry immediately emailed me back saying he could and he looked forward to working with me to document my wedding day. He charged me $400 for 2 hours, which I was fine with. About 3 weeks before the wedding I reached out to him about changing the time from 3pm to 5pm and after about 5 days he replied he could do that and still seemed enthusiastic.
Long story short(ish), I got a call on my wedding day while I was getting ready from a number I didn't know and it was another photographer that Enfry had apparently given my job to (later Enfry would say that it was his employee but come to find out this man had only done a couple of jobs for Enfry and Enfry had reached out to him about doing my job the day before my wedding). I even have an email from Enfry implying HE would be the one shooting my wedding (see pics).Though I thoroughly enjoyed the gentleman that photographed my wedding, several things went wrong from there. First off, in the contract it said I'd get my photos back in 3 days... I got married on May 18th and didn't get my photos until June 4th. When the photos did come in they were all unedited and grayish. There was a lighting issue and a spot on the lense of the camera that showed on my dress in many pictures. Enfry blamed this on his assistant uploading the wrong file. Later that day he sent me the "edited" photos that still had the lighting issue and the spot on the lens, also were different photos from the first batch. Enfry made it clear by not knowing what I was talking about with the issues that he had not even looked through the photos before he sent them to me. I asked to just have the unedited photos so I could just edit them myself, he never sent me these. After much conversation with both the photographer that did my job and Enfry, separately, I found out that Enfry told the other photographer that I wanted a refund (which I had not mentioned to him at this point) and made the photographer that did the job return the $200 Enfry paid him. When I spoke to Enfry after learning this, he did not mention a refund to me so when he asked what he can do to make me happy I told him that the other photographer should be paid because he showed up and did the work, even if I didn't like the photos I got (how is it right for Enfry to hold on to my $400 and have done nothing?). After much conversation with Enfry he agreed to give me a full refund (after he told me the other photographer didn't deserve to be paid... but somehow he did?). As of today, July 3rd, I received half of my refund and Enfry will not return my text messages or call me. So I give up on the other $200 (by the way, Enfry, I DID pay the other photographer who had been 100% more helpful If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
