FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be as fair as possible with all of my pricing. With that being said I refuse to do “good enough” work, and unfortunately quality work just takes more time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will start with a phone call or text conversation, whichever you prefer. We will discuss a general overview of the project to be completed and schedule an in person evaluation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned my trade while working for a master craftsman who unfortunately had some health problems in his older age. Well he couldn’t do much manual labor anymore, so he needed to hire a strong young man(me) to do most of the hard labor for him, but he still had more knowledge about remodeling and construction than any man I have ever met. Day by day he single handily turned a clueless teenager into a skilled tradesman! Back in 2013 the starting pay for an unskilled worker was only $8.00hr and my 19 year old self was not happy about working on a roof during the 100 degree summer days or pressure washing houses on 25 degree winter days. But knowing what I know now I would do it all again for free because the knowledge that man passed down to me was invaluable.
