Introduction
Hi there! My name is James O’Daniel and I’m a dedicated handyman based in the St. Louis area. For the past 10 years, I’ve been helping family and friends with a variety of home improvement tasks, including two complete kitchen remodels. I’ve successfully tackled flooring, drywall finishing, cabinet installation, some light electrical work, and appliance installation.
Recently, I decided to turn my expertise and passion for improvement and repair jobs into a true business. While I’m still a full-time science teacher in the area, handyman work remains my second job and fulfills my need to tear down and build things. I love planning and seeing completion of home improvement jobs of many types.

James has conducted multiple projects in my home of various sizes and he’s done an excellent job on all. Projects have included:
- replacing multiple light fixtures,
- creating a wall where doors between two rooms once were, and
- a complete kitchen remodel, which involved extensive dry walling, floor leveling, removal of old cabinets, installation of new cabinets, and cutting tile for the backsplash.
James is kind, smart, thorough, and delivers a great project no matter the size.
I could not recommend OD Contracting and Handyman Services enough!

We’ve already used James for a number of home projects (hanging drywall, fixing a sink aerator and replacing the garbage disposal. Each time we used him he was extremely professional and provided timely work at a very reasonable rate. I plan to use James again for anything that comes up. He’s my safety net!!
