Mimi was absolutely wonderful with taking our family/ newborn pictures. She was so good with our puppy who can be a handful and made us really comfortable. Her end work was phenomenal, and I couldn’t be happier!

Our vision for our photos came to life with Mimi’s expertise and guidance. We’re not very natural at taking pictures, but Mimi captured the best of our family. She made us feel comfortable throughout the whole photoshoot and it was just a very fun experience. From our wedding to maternity shots and then our first family photos, we are so grateful to have Mimi capture all our greatest life moments!

I hit up Mimi from New Jersey to arrange a maternity photo shoot for my best friend down in Missouri. Given our decade-long friendship, I aimed to make her birthday/Christmas gift exceptionally memorable this year. Mimi was a blast to work with. She was totally on board with the idea and super open to my bestie's vision – a festive maternity shoot with family pics and some solo shots.
Mimi totally crushed it, going above and beyond what we expected. She even had my nieces so comfortable around her that she got some great shots of them too! My bestie even shed a few happy tears when she saw the pics, so yeah, this gift was a win. Big thanks to Mimi for making it all so special! We'll be back for some pics of the baby when she's born!

What I thought were "couples photos" to celebrate my partner's white coat ceremony was a proposal! Mimi snuck in perfect shots without giving herself away as part of the surprise.
If you want a photographer who captures your true emotions, can give creative direction, and is punctual as heck--book with Mimi!

Mimi did a fantastic job with our engagement photos! She was incredibly professional yet personable, and we were so impressed with her attention to detail, creative eye, and photography expertise. During the shoot, she helped us get all of our photo jitters out and made us feel so comfortable the entire time - it ended up being such a fun experience! The final photos she delivered completely exceeded our expectations with how beautifully shot and edited they were. 4+ years later, we still have her photos displayed around our home, and we couldn't recommend Mimi enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate includes:
- session fee
- professional editing
- custom style guide
- online gallery of JPG images
- print release rights
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) After you send an inquiry, I'll see if your desired date is available. If it is, we'll get the paperwork out of the way and take care of the 50% deposit.
2) Depending on the type of event it is, we'll plan and discuss outfits, details, location, etc.
3) We'll meet on the day of your session, and have some fun :)
4) I try to send teaser photos within 2 days of your session (proposals and weddings, you get a teaser within 24 hours!). Then I'll deliver the rest of your photos in a couple of weeks or less (with the exception of weddings which will take around 4-6 weeks).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my first camera in college, and I've been shooting ever since.
