- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private lessons are currently at $96 per month, paid by automatic payment with debit or credit card. Classes for young students are priced by the month, depending on the length of class - 30 min., 45 min., 60 min. Since music with the family is so important, home materials are required. Payments are set up with auto payements, for your convenience. Materials and registration fees are due the month a new unit is started. Referral discounts are also available when you bring a new family into the studio.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our teachers find out what type of music each student wants to learn. They then tailor the lessons to incorporate the basics needed to support the student on their journey to musical mastery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our teachers have either performance experience and/or college education, and a great love for teaching music. I have a college degree in music education, and hold a lifetime certificate to teach music K-12 in Missouri. I have completed all levels of the Musikgarten training, from Family Music for Babies through Music Makers at the Keyboard. I attend various workshops and conferences on various subjects relating to teaching music and running a music business.
