FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am most often sending your estimate and appointment details via Thumbtack or your preferred messaging service. I need images of the work site in advance along with further details that explain the scope of the task to be completed. This allows for me to bring the proper tools and equipment, as well as a more personal estimate if necessary. I always discussed yard waste and disposal ahead of time so additional fees are clarified. My hourly rate stays consistent across-the-board whether it’s picking up plants, weeding, designing, drive time, or waste disposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As mentioned in my other Q&A answers I have grown up in the garden. My grandparents owned acres of property where we would roam, plant and explore. Now I am city living and here to assist with all your gardening needs. I am a student of horticulture and I have worked in the field for many years to perfect my techniques for your landscape.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing this type of work by following my interests and entering the field of horticulture. I knew that getting more hands-on with plants out in the field would really help my learning experience so I joined a landscaping company to expand my knowledge & develop my techniques. Did I mention that I grew up gardening with my family? I’ve enjoyed all types of gigs from weeding for farmers & lending a hand at farmers markets to working heavy equipment like skid steers for bamboo “forest” removals.
