FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by each individual project. Day rate is in the 400s, half day mid 200. I always give an up front price based on a description and a few pictures of the areas needing work. Ive been doing this for a decade plus and I know how long things take to complete. I don't just show up and run the clock at 70 an hour, I rarely raise the quoted price unless something major pops up as I realize nobody likes surprises. If there is a problem I involve the client. I will not do the extra work and charge hundreds ,without approval, more because I "found something."
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find out what the client is trying to accomplish and find the best fit. Be that repair, replace or redesign. The first step is describing the project and the timeline. I like to get pictures and produce a price range. If that is agreeable I come out, submit a written quote and schedule the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 yrs. experience in interior and exterior construction up to and including whole house renovation. I have rental properties that I hire people to work on so I know what its like from both sides of the transaction.
