I am a professional DJ with over 20 + years of experience and have been ranked as one of the top 100 DJs in the world (DJ Magazine UK). I can provide music in all styles with world renowned master mixing techniques. Freddy made our wedding an amazing memory. He took the time to ask us what songs and artists we prefer. Freddy's customization and personalization of our play list made the evening special. Through out the night, he took requests and made sure our families and guestsenjoyed themselves. His mash ups of rock, country, hip hop, and pop kept all age demographics dancing. I've had many friends and family tell me it was the best wedding dance they've ever been a part of. I want to start this letter by emphasizing that I strongly recommend Freddy, without any reservation. My wife, Shaylin and I were fortunate enough to have Freddy DJ at our wedding this past October. We planned the wedding ourselves and simultaneously underwent a move back to the Twin Cities from Reno and changed jobs; so this was a busy and stressful time for us. However, throughout the entire process Freddy was a pleasure to work with and wildly exceeded our expectations. He not only did his job exceedingly well but also managed to make our wedding planning, and the day itself, much more manageable by going above and beyond what we had asked of him. Furthermore, Shaylin and I were likely not easy clients to work with. Both of us felt selective about the music while also not really having concrete ideas of what we wanted to be played. Yet from day one Freddy thoroughly impressed and reassured us – taking what minimal suggestions we were able to provide and executing the reception flawlessly. Freddy was able to provide the perfect soundtrack to our day, sensing the environment and adapting to it. Throughout the night, Shaylin and I would constantly comment on how pleased and impressed we were with Freddy’s selections and abilities. Additionally, he was able to coax myself and even some of my shyest friends onto the dance floor which was a feat in and of itself. From the first day we met Freddy, he stayed in constant communication with us. There were no unwelcome surprises or concerns. He was responsive, helpful, and patient. Moreover, Shaylin and I enjoyed meeting with him as he is extremely personable, respectful, and is eager to help in any way he can. On the day of the wedding, Freddy showed up early and was ready to go well in advance of when needed. There was never a second where Shaylin or I doubted that Freddy would come through for us. The ceremony music was beautiful, impeccably timed, and despite the venue being outdoors, everything was sounded flawless. Friends and family commented that the ceremony was one of the best they had ever seen – in no small part due to Freddy’s help. Immediately following the ceremony, Freddy was able to quickly relocate his equipment a few hundred yards away to the cocktail hour/reception area, not missing a beat or seeming to be anything but happy to be there. After the wedding day was over, Shaylin and I felt that without question he was our favorite vendor we’d worked with, among a host of excellent vendors no less, for all the reasons mentioned above. As the wedding was winding down and most of the guests had dispersed, some of my friends with musical inclination came to me expressing their disbelief at how great his work had been. Not only were they impressed with his abilities, but also in his approachability – Freddy stayed late and shared his experiences with them as he had done with Shay and myself. They were thrilled and expressed interest in Freddy for their weddings in the future. Overall, I’m very thankful that we had the privilege of meeting and working with Freddy. So many of our most treasured memories from that day were framed perfectly by his craft and I have nothing but the highest praise for his work and for him. We highly recommend Freddy Fresh to DJ at your upcoming event!! We attended a friends wedding where Freddy Fresh was playing and immediately knew that he was not your typical run of the mill DJ from a wedding service. He kept the dance floor full the entire evening. He was blending songs so smoothly that it was difficult to even notice them changing. We ended up hiring him a year later when we were married and do not regret it for one moment. He played music for our ceremony and then also for cocktails and dinner and finally on to the dance floor until we closed up the party.. He has a great voice for announcements and is not in any way cheesy or to vocal on the mic. Fantastic mix of music from Elvis Presley to crazy electronic Dubstep that my husband wanted. (He even did live custom mixes on the fly). Overall he kept our large crowd dancing throughout the evening (including our grandparents). We booked Freddy directly from his website after my husband saw him performing at Soundset Festival and could not have been happier. He arrived early and played music while our families were seating and then played music for the Ceremony. After he played music for Cocktails and not only played music that we suggested but complimented it with a rare selection of Jazz and Blues songs from his extensive private collections. After that he moved his equipment indoors and played throughout the evening. He managed to get even our most stubborn guests out on the dance floor. At the end of the night he showed his musical skills by blending a smooth dance mix of EDM and Dubstep as well as Hip Hop Music that my husband requested and we have never seen another DJ that had those types of technical skills. He was in fact rated as one of the best DJ’s in the world and he definitely showed us those same skills at our wedding. It was fantastic to have a world renowned DJ playing at our own wedding!!

Having Freddy Fresh as our DJ at our wedding reception was a wonderful experience. He had a wide variety of music selections to choose from also we were able to make our own personal requests. He was very informative and participated when we requested for his input. Overall I would strongly recommend his services, our event was a huge success.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This varies based on hours played, travel, lights, crowd size etc. Most of the weddings and events I entertain are booked months in advance, please bear in mind that, to reserve your date a non-refundable deposit of 20% will be required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personal consultation by phone or in person to assess exactly what is required for each event. I provide past references and make sure that we are clear on precisely the styles of music, times, announcements etc. that will be taking place. I always show up 60-90 minutes before each event to set up and soundcheck as well. If a customer has specific requests such as wanting profanity edited out of songs, I also have the software to do this extra detail as well.

I have over 20 years of experience. I was ranked in the Top 100 DJs worldwide by DJ Magazine UK. I have two books published on music, Ive entertained more than 1.000 Private parties, Events, Weddings & Festivals, performed in more than 35 countries and have performed alongside or opened for worldwide known Artists.
