FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a breakdown between commercial clients and non-profits. Additionally, different shoots require very different resources so it is best to be as specific as possible when looking for an accurate quote. I prefer to offer different production packages so clients can decide what is important to them and what meets their budget. This is why communication is key to creating great video product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BFA, Filmmaking. MFA, Creative Writing Video/Photo Instructor for MTN, Twin Cities Media Alliance and MELSA.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Pretty much every kind. Political personalities, motivational speakers, authors, artists or athletes putting together a highlight reel. Multinational corporations, local small businesses, or advertising agencies large or small. Celebrity weddings or ceremonies that are charmingly individualized. Honestly, variety is the best part of being a freelance video producer.
