For older folks who must move from one home to another without free help, it can be a disaster or a pleasure. I experienced both. For me, the packing and unpacking were the hardest parts.Now that Im seventy-something, I will never move a household again by myself. And Ill never again hire movers to pack me before moving.In my case, huge boxes with hardly any notation were left everywhere in my new Rochester, MN, apartment. They were piled onto each other and on the furniture and I could find nothing. I failed for a month to unpack by myself.Long story short, a friend suggested I use professional organizers to unpack me and set up my new home, so after a long search, I found them while looking for something else on Google.Literally sight unseen except for Zoom, I hired MEAT & POTATOES ORGANIZING, LLC, in the Twin Cities (MN) area. The owner, Cori McDougald, and her co-worker, Brenda, arrived and performed a miracle.Together they were a whirling dervish of moving boxes, unloading boxes, breaking down boxes, moving furniture, asking only a few questions, figuring out where stuff belonged and putting everything (everything!) away.They were careful with my stuff and treated my elderly kitty with kindness and respect. They created piles for recycling, donating, selling, and storage. They ran everything by me first and then took care of each pile.I did nothing except to enjoy their company and feel relief wash over me as my junk yard became my home.Cori and Brenda are smart, strong, quick, funny, considerate, fair, honest, and knowledgeable in their field. I love how they figured out the way I would want my home organized by asking some easy questions and listening to my answers.I feel like I have my mind and my life back, both of which I had nearly given up on. I just wish I had known about them before I moved! They earned my FIVE STARS the old-fashioned way.Professional Organizing is indeed an industry whose time has come, and Meat & Potatoes Organizing is its shining example.

Hiring Meat & Potatoes was the best money I've ever spent. As someone with chronic illness and limited energy, my bedroom is what always got neglected. After a while, it became impossible to pull myself out of the dirty, cluttered, disorganized space. M&P did everything for me... Organizing and deep cleaning my space... And best: NO JUDGEMENT.I will be hiring them again to do "maintenence"!

We charge $100/hour for one Professional Organizer, $150/hour for two Professional Organizers. We are the most efficient Professional Organizers in Minnesota & ND because we work as a TEAM!!! We are here to help and have fun while we do it!
