FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100/Hour Regular Rate $85/Hour Introduction Rate Packages Of 6 %15 Savings Membership: $85/Month (1 Massage/Month) Sales Tax 7.5% Dr. Note Then It's Tax Exempt Car Accident? We can bill your insurance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Unlike most places, we give some extra time for intake and closure so that it does not come out of your hands on time. New clients fill out a short intake form and answer a few questions from the massage therapist so the therapist understands what to focus on during the session. During the session there may be some communication to ensure comfort and efficiency. After the session the therapist has a closure time frame to go over what was found and some possible self care/stretches that can be done to help with the issues that were found.

She has worked at Dallmeyer Physical Therapy Clinic and the Encina Lodge hotel spa in Santa Barbara, and as a referred massage therapist for Sender-O'Hara chiropractic in Goleta, CA. Juliana moved to Minnesota in 2004, and worked as a massage therapist at the University of Minnesota Duluth in the Recreational Sports and Outdoor program department from 2007 to 2013, for Shear Katz Aveda Salon from February of 2010 to September of 2014, and as an independent contractor with private clients and for numerous events such as chair massage for businesses, and massage for triathlons, and other athletic events. Juliana says "My goal with my clients is to eliminate or greatly reduce pain and stiffness which keeps them from doing the best they can in physical activities or feel the best they can in daily life, to generate relaxation, increase range of motion, heal from trauma, and reduce stress. I am known for having strong hands, and the ability to empathize with the patient's needs. I had a previous 12-year career as a professional Ballet dancer, some experience with martial arts, and have participated in triathlons. I fully recovered from foot surgery, and from a MVA where I was badly rear-ended. All of these experiences have really helped me to understand better the body's muscles, fascia, and spine, what people need out of their massage, and how to be a better massage therapist. I look forward to meeting you, and to helping your life feel better." Scott Armendariz - Certified Massage Therapist Scott is a certified massage therapist with three years of professional experience working at a chiropractic clinic alongside massage therapists, chiropractors, and physical therapists. A graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University's program with an associate's degree in massage therapy, he is certified in neuromuscular therapy from the NMT Center, and carries a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Growing up with four siblings and playing soccer from a young age, massage therapy has been a key element in keeping Scott active and off the bench. Using a variety of techniques, including trigger-point therapy, cross-fiber friction, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapy, he works with your body to reduce scar tissue buildup and decrease symptoms of pain and tightness. Over the course of his experience, Scott has worked with a wide range of patients, from high-intensity athletes like marathon runners, competitive rowers, and skiers, to the general population. In all cases, he incorporates a slow, steady pace that allows areas of restriction and trauma to relax before being manipulated, ensuring the most potential for change and recovery from both acute and chronic issues. In his spare time, Scott can be found watching MN United FC games or on the soccer field playing, quoting his favorite movies and songs, or enjoying summer weather with walks around the lakes and multiple concerts.
