Erich was extremely helpful when it came time for us to get our home inspection done. He was able to squeeze us into a tight schedule and thoroughly explain what it is they look for in the inspection. He was right on time with the time slot that was set up and walked us through the home to show us the things he found. Erich was very professional (and so nice!) from the beginning. I initially felt more comfortable going with his company since he is the Owner and Lead Inspector and would personally be performing the inspection himself. He reached out to me directly, provided his contact information and took my call right away. His promptness was so appreciated as we had a small timeframe to complete the inspection. Erich was so friendly and honest - something that is so refreshing these days! He didn't want to overcharge us or provide services we didn't need - I had called a few other companies for pricing and they continued to try to upsell me on "packages" I didn't want or need. Erich really listens and offers great insight during the home inspection - he knows his stuff! His report and explanations were thorough with photos and he took the time to make sure we understood everything. I HIGHLY recommend using Erich and his company ConstructSPEC. I will be keeping his contact information to pass along to friends and family.

Erich was great from start to finish. He responded promptly to all communications even during late hours. He did a fabulous job during inspection and gave his opinions when I asked for them. He made sure I understood everything being a first time home buyer. He took pictures and provided a full report with the pictures in it by the end of the day. Definitely recommend!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is everything! We discuss the home inspection process, concerns, issues, etc. before we begin. I welcome the prospective homeowner to join me throughout the inspection! Once the inspection is completed, We will send the report within 24 hours upon completion of inspection. This report is a detailed document which includes pictures of the findings.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are all certified home inspectors.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for the construction industry. After buying several homes, I know the importance of having a throughout inspection done so with my background and my understanding of this important job it was a natural fit for me to help others.
